It has been like ‘Bhagiratha Prayatna’ for Srinivas Thimmaiah who is in the cinema field over a decade. He announced quite a few projects but finally arrived with a heart touching tale of ‘Ganda and Gunda’ in ‘Nanu Maththu Gunda!

A talkative person Srinivas in his debut direction melts stony hearts with the dog’s life. When he reaches the dogs butchering scandal it is further more blood curdling. In addition to it the lacunae in the health of the protagonist Shankra is increasing point in the sentiments.

The most faithful in the world ‘Dog’ is the focus in this film. Shankra (Shivaraj KR Pete) an ordinary auto driver is really driven by the faithfulness of ‘Gunda’ (Dog). When Shankra wife Samyuktha Horanadu decides to walk out of the life, it is this ‘Gunda’ who patches up the broken hearts. The bondage for Gunda now increases in the family. Gunda is considered as first son in the house.

At the happy moment director Srinivas bring in the tragedy portion as Gunda is missing from the house. It has been a cry for Gunda by Shankra and his friend and at home Shankra wife is also hoping for quick return.

The mafia of dog flesh is very strong. Gunda is in the captivity now of a treacherous gang. In the process of getting back Gunda from butchering, Shakra reaches a point of no return. What next, you have to watch for the dog sentiments in the film.

Shivaraj KR Pete a comedy actor in small screen and Kannada films now has given his best in this film. Gunda a dog is the first cynosure of this film. Samyuktha Hornadu is a right pick.

There are two good songs coming at the background. Cinematography of village and town portions is fine.
